Loose Leaf and Yard Waste Collection Fall Schedule

Loose leaf collection will begin October 19 in Kannapolis. This year, the City will continue to use the system where loose leaf and bagged yard waste collection pick-ups occur every other week. Loose leaf collection will run through March 5, 2010.

The collection system breaks the City up into 10 zones. Please click here to view an overall zone map. You can also click here to find maps of each individual zone.

The following collection days are in place for each zone. The zones are the same as last year.

Zone 1 – pick-ups every other Monday beginning October 19
Zone 2 – pick-ups every other Tuesday beginning October 20
Zone 3 – pick-ups every other Wednesday beginning October 21
Zone 4 – pick-ups every other Thursday beginning October 22
Zone 5 – pick-ups every other Friday beginning October 23

Zone 6 – pick-ups every other Monday beginning October 26
Zone 7 – pick-ups every other Tuesday beginning October 27
Zone 8 – pick-ups every other Wednesday beginning October 28
Zone 9 – pick-ups every other Thursday beginning October 29
Zone 10 – pick-ups every other Friday beginning October 30
